RYFT Bikes is a Norwegian start-up. These terms explain what you can and cannot expect from this website today. Sales terms for an actual bike will be agreed in writing with each customer before anything is paid.

Where RYFT is today

Our frames are still being designed, and we plan to start production in late 2028. That is a plan, not a promise. Everything on this website, including the descriptions of the frames, the builder and the process, describes our plans and ideas. It is information, not a binding offer. Specifications, components, prices and timelines can change, and some things may not happen as planned.

Reserving a spot and sending a build

Reserving a spot or sending a build through this website is free. It is not an order and does not create any obligation, for you or for us. It does not guarantee that a bike will be produced or delivered to you. Your choices are wishes. We will use your details to keep you posted, and nothing is binding until both sides have confirmed a clear outline in writing. You can ask us to delete your reservation at any time.

Prices

Prices on this website are shown in US dollars (USD) and are estimates. The components are not decided yet, so the final price will differ. The price in your written outline is the price that applies.

Orders and payment

You cannot order or pay for anything through this website. Before production starts, we will send you a written outline that states the frame and components, the final price, the delivery time, how and when payment is made, and the cancellation and warranty rules that apply. Please do not pay anything before you have that outline from us and have approved it.

Your rights as a consumer

If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer protection rules that apply to you also apply to any agreement we make, including your rights if a product is defective. Nothing in these terms limits those rights.

Riding is risky

Mountain biking, and especially downhill and enduro riding, can cause serious injury. Always wear suitable protective gear, ride within your ability and keep your bike properly assembled and maintained. Information on this website is not a substitute for a professional mechanic's advice.

Brands and trademarks

The brands shown on this website are named because we would like to use their components in the future. RYFT does not currently have a partnership, sponsorship or dealer agreement with them, and their appearance here does not suggest any. All brand names belong to their owners.

Our content

The RYFT name, logo, photographs, text and design belong to RYFT Bikes and its founders. Please ask before you reuse them.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Norwegian law.
